By placing an order with us, you agree that
you meet any or all of the following criteria:
Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines,
with the following exceptions:
(1) to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees
of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such
knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
(2) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National
Guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering,
procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities
of such organization;
(3) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government
of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory,
or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;
(4) to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection
with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated
in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).
It is the buyer's responsibility, not the seller's, to know and
comply with any local, state or Federal laws pertaining to collection,
ownership or carry of any of the products we sell.

KNIVES R US SHOPPING POLICY:
Most items are ordered
as needed from our suppliers when orders are placed with us. Orders shipping
within the US that include products which are in stock in our store usually
ship within two business days. Orders with items that must be ordered
from our suppliers usually ship within 5-7 business days of an order being
placed, however we ask that you allow up to ten business days for your
order to ship. International Orders can take up to 14 days for processing.
Orders with items that must be ordered from our supplier, and are in stock
at the supplier, will be charged before the items are ordered from the
supplier. Product on unpaid orders will not be ordered from our suppliers.
A tracking number will be emailed when the label is processed for shipment.
In an effort to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders, orders placed
where the billing and shipping information do not match may, at 888 Knives
R Us discretion, impose an additional fee for adult signature required
upon delivery of $3.00. We will email you notification of this additonal
fee before your order is charged and processed. Please
note: Selecting expedited shipping
does not guarantee that the order will ship immediately. Please
also refer to our International and APO policies below.
Declined Credit Card Charges: If the
credit card declines, we will notify the customer by email and place the
order into cancel status. The Orders can easily be reinstated once the
issue is resolved, or the customer may place a new order securely online.
Backordered Items: Orders which contain
items which are backordered at our supplier will not be charged and we
will email notification of the backordered item whereby you will have
a chance to continue or cancel the order. Please refer to our Backorder
Policy for more information.
Pre-Order Items: Orders which contain
items which are on Pre-ordered at our supplier will not be charged and
we will email notification of the Pre-ordered item so that the customer
receives confirmation of the Pre-Order. Please refer to our Pre-Order
Policy for more information.

PAYMENT METHODS: 888
Knives R Us accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express in
the United States and Canada,
Cashiers Checks and Money Orders in US Dollars. 888
Knives R Us does not accept International Credit Cards. Orders
placed with a Credit Card payment option will be charged once the item(s)
on the order are either located in our store or located at our supplier
and ordered from them. When selecting the Money Order or Cashiers Check
option, 888 Knives R Us will email a payment policy notification to you
and unless you have placed a note in your order stating your payment option.
When payment has been received, the order will be processed according
to our shopping policy above. 888 Knives R Us
does not accept personal checks. Personal checks
will be returned and the order will be canceled. PayPal is available
by request.
DOMESTIC
(Within the US) SHIPPING: 888
Knives R Us uses United Parcel Service (UPS) as its main default brokered
shipper within the United States. Our system will calculate shipping amounts
based on the weight of the shipment, the location of its destination and
the amount of insurance applied. These rates are tied into UPS's live
database of rates and will fluctuate. If you are interested in shipping
your order via the US postal service, please place a note at checkout
that you would like postal service calculated. Please allow a few additional
business days to receive your order. Automatic Knives & Pepper Spray
cannot be shipped via the Postal Sevice except to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

APO/FPO SHIPPING:
Orders shipping to military addresses are sent via the
US Postal Service and are normally sent Priority Mail.
Our system will calculate shipping amounts based on the weight of the
shipment, the location of its destination and the amount of insurance
applied. Please read about
additional handling below. Due to restricted guidelines at
the US Postal Service, items with contents under pressure, such as pepper
sprays, cannot be shipped via air and therefore cannot be shipped to military
addresses. APO / FPO orders are shipped from our Post Office in Jacksonville,
Florida once weekly. Customs Form declaration of items sold must reflect
the item(s)' actual value for insurance purposes. Please contact
us for special delivery needs.
ADDITIONAL
HANDLING MULTIPLE ITEM ORDERS AND OVER-SIZED ITEMS:
Steel is
heavy and can become an over-sized shipment quite easily. Over-sized items
are usually swords, machetes, axes, armour, heavy bowies and throwing
knives, and the like. If you are ordering oversize items; or your order
contains multiple items which adds additional weight, additional shipping
charges will apply. Our
online system's shopping cart will calculate default UPS shipping
amounts based on the package's dimension, weight, location and insurance
applied. If UPS Ground shipping on over-sized or multi-item orders is
substantially different from what is calculated by our system at shipping
time, we will calculate the shipping amount and contact you before shipping.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING:
If expedited shipping such as 3-Day
Select, Second Day Air or Next Day
Air is selected on an order, be aware that by selecting such
does not guarantee the order will ship the next business day as not all
items are in stock at all times and most often will need to be ordered
from our supplier. Selecting
expedited shipping will only affect time in transit. Shipping
is handled through our default brokered shipper, United Parcel Service
(UPS) for domestic (within the United States) orders and any delivery
instructions pertaining to delivery must be directed to UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS
(742-5877) after the tracking number attached to that shipment has been
received by the customer. Notes placed on an order with instructions pertaining
to delivery will not be forwarded to UPS by 888 Knives R Us. Notes placed
on an order for specific delivery needs will be handled by 888 Knives
R Us in the fastest possible manner. If it is believed that delivery needs
cannot be met, 888 Knives R Us will contact the customer by email to that
effect providing an opportunity to continue or cancel the order. Please
place your arrival date needs in the "Notes"
field during checkout, or give us a call or email
us
to check availability of the item(s) you are intending to order.
DROP-SHIPPING:
if an order
is placed for a gift, etc. in some cases, drop-shipment can be implemented
for an additional fee. In an effort to protect ourselves from fraudulent

PRICE
ERRORS OR INCREASES: 888
Knives R Us offers an extensive line of products
from several different manufacturers and the products' pricing changes
and is updated daily. If you choose an item on our webstore which has
had a recent price increase; or if the item has been uploaded to our store
reflecting an incorrect price; or a sale from a specific supplier has
ended, you will be notified by email about the increase or error and the
new price point will be reflected on the order. You will have the opportunity
to continue with the order at the new price or decline the order and cancel.
Pre-Orders or Backorders do not lock in pricing of the items. If a product
you have on Pre-Order or Backorder increases in price, the price wlll
be adjusted on your order to reflect the current price a the time the
item(s) is available and you will be sent confirmation of such change.
If the items' price does not change and the item(s) is available with
thirty (30) days, the order will be processed according to our Backorder
and Pre-Order
policies.
INTERNATIONAL
ORDERS: Please refer to the list below for the countries outside
the USA to which we ship. Payment of international orders is via Money
Order or Cashier's Check in US Dollars, or via PayPal in countries which
allow customers to create PayPal accounts. If you wish to pay with PayPal
you must select "Cashier's Check or Money Order" when checking
out. During checkout you may request PayPal in the Notes field or after
your order is placed, or you may send us an email from the "Contact
Us" link and request that a PayPal payment request be sent to
you (please include your order number in the subject line). We will then
send you a PayPal Payment Request via email. PayPal
can not be used for payment when the order contains automatic knives,
automatic batons, pepper spray, stun guns or butterfly knives.
The shopping cart will calculate shipping amounts to all
locations to which we ship but in some cases may not, or may calculate
incorrectly because of the large variance of size and weight of the items
we sell. Orders placed which do not reflect shipping costs upon checkout
will be adjusted after the order has been placed. PayPal Payment requests
will only be sent to members who are verified, no exceptions. 888
Knives R Us will not ship butterfly knives, automatic knives, automatic
batons, stun guns or pepper spray out of the country (with the exception
of military addresses). Orders placed with any of the aforementioned
items will be canceled and any payment made will be refunded in full.
Customs Form declaration of items sold must reflect the item(s)' actual
value for insurance purposes. Product

RETURNS
AND EXCHANGES:

R Us understands that doing business online sometimes results in merchandise
that our customer may not like or need when the item has been received.
Customers may return product(s) for a full refund of the purchase price
within 7 days of the date of receipt. Exchanges at their purchase price
may be made within 14 days of the date of receipt. If a return is received
after the posted return period, 888 Knives R Us will make 1 attempt via
all means provided by the customer to return the order to the customer.
Return shipping outside of the posted return/exchange policy will incur
additional shipping fees and will not be re-shipped unless those fees have
been paid. If the attempt to contact the customer results with in reply,
the order will be shelved until contact is made to provide for its return
for 30-Days. 888 Knives R Us will not be held responsible for items not
accounted for after 30-Days has passed. Before shipping returns/exchanges,

product(s) must be in new and re-sellable condition with all
materials, parts and packaging.
Please include the original receipt or a copy of this receipt
with the return.
Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are the customer's
responsibility and will not be refunded except when 888 Knives
R Us is in error.
All shipments leaving 888 Knives R Us are insured and tracked
when the unexpected occurs. Please insure returns and exchanges.
888 Knives R Us will not be held liable for lost or stolen return/exchange
merchandise.
Special order products will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
Some products do not come from the manufacturer with a
partially serrated blade and 888 Knives R Us can put one on
the blade for you for an additional fee. If you have ordered
such an item and decide to return or exchange it, this will
fall under special order items and will be handled according
to that policy. |
