Peter Whittaker Mountaineer

Peter Whittaker has a lineage of mountaineering. His father and uncle were America's pre-eminent mountain climbers, and his uncle was the first American to summit Mount Everest. Peter continues this heritage, running America's largest guide program. He has some of the world's foremost guides taking climbers, backpackers and trekkers all around the world on backcountry adventures.

With over 25 years experience, Peter has summited some of the earth's highest peaks, including 190 ascents of Washington's Mt. Rainier alone.
