Established in 1948 in Seki City, the Kitasho Company Limited continues
to provide amazing knives forged throughout a history of 800 years that

Seki City, "The City of Blades,"
is the 800-year old blade capital of the Orient. The greatest number of
Japanese Sword craftsmen in all of Japan are located in Seki-City, actively
working on passing down the inimitable craft and tradition of Japanese
Sword-making from generation tro generation, and intent on introducing
these excellent products from Japan to the world.
Kanetsune Seki, one of the master craftsmen in Japan, continues this 800-year-old
history of Japanese sword-making. "Seki-den is the secret method
of Japanese swordmaking which has been passed from generation to generation
to todays standard of their craft. Mr. Kanetsu Seki preserves his highly
reputable name in Japan by keeping true to the tradition of blending the
perfect balance of delicate feel, aura of dignity, stately presence and
absolute sharpness and gives birth to the sharpest and most beautiful
of Japanese fixed blade knives on the market today.
