Beginning in 1908 as Endo Manufacturing Co. (manufacturing and Marketing),
Kershaw knives would soon become and grow into a company that would be
recognized world-wide as a top-player in the cutlery and tool industry.
Kershaw Knives opened for business in Lake Oswego, Oregon with its no-hassle,
lifetime guarantee and
has undergone tremendous growth and expansion throughout the years. In
1978 Kai Cutlery Co. Ltd. purchased Kershaw Knives and created Kai USA
Ltd. (marketing), Kai Cutlery Hong Kong Ltd. (marketing). As Kershaw expanded
their line of Field knives and Folding Pocket knives they also introduced
their line of Floating Fish Fillet knives in 1982. Within the next few
years Kershaw moved its facility stateside to Wilsonville, Oregon and
expanded its market into Europe, as Kai Cutlery Europe. In 1997, Under
the direction of Mr. Koji Endo, CEO of Kai Corp., Japan, Hiroshi (Jack)
Igarashi of Kai Corp, Japan is appointed Executive Vice President of Kai
USA Ltd. dba Kershaw Knives. From this point forward, Kershaw has continued
over the years to bring new and innovative products to the table, most
noteable are the Ken Onion line of Speed-Safe assitied opening models
that won numerous awards year after year. No matter what the task, there
is a Kershaw knife ready to handle it. From utility, to military and police,
