The handle is thick but light with a large choil at the front and the black Valox handle scales are textured and grooved for excellent grip. The handle is pre-tapped for lefties to move the clip to the other side and the safety works in both the open and closed positions. The Axis lock gives this knife the strongest assisted locking mechanism on the market.
