MODEL - PARTIALLY SERRATED BLADE
A more affordable but just as tough version of the original M16 aluminum knives
the M16Z's are a great hard working knife that anyone can afford. The spear point
is well suited to all types of cutting tasks.
Instead of aluminum handles,
this knife uses tough, textured Zytel® scales over a 420J2 stainless steel
liner InterFrame. It is overbuilt for rigidity, using precision-machined stainless
steel back spacers. The handle is assembled with superior offset Torx® fasteners.
The handle is slightly heftier
and wider than the aluminum build M16, but it is exceptionally rigid. To some
people, it actually fills the hand better.
The use of CRKT's tough
AUS 4 high-carbon stainless steel for the blade to give greater everyday utility,
and offer both Razor-Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated
edges. All models feature the Carson Flipper, which is not only an aid to opening
the blade, especially when wearing gloves, but acts as a blade guard when the
blade is open.
CRKT has incorporated their
new patented* AutoLAWKS® automatic knife safety into all models, which converts
the M16 Zytel series into virtual fixed blades when their blades are open and
locked.
Once these are sold, they will be gone. All new in the box, no stickers or flaws.
