Designed by noted Texas custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz, the well-known E-Lock
is now offered as an automatic!. Yes, they have that cool Elishewitz look at first
glance, but look a little further and you discover Allens incredible new
E-lock knife uses the same features in an automatic that made the folder so desired.
Now converted to automatic
and acting as the blade deployment mechanism, a stainless steel rocker bar with
a powerful spring holds the blade rigidly in place. The blade pivot screw is
a custom machined four-point Elishewitz design, and Teflon® bushings at
the blade pivot make the action super slick.
This precision designed
tool features a drop point blade in a bright satin finish. Drilled like Elishewitz
customs, the frame is satin stainless steel. Scales are CNC machined 6061 T6
aluminum, hard anodized bronze. The visual effect is very different, but the
work knife utility of this up-market version remains.
