Wonderful reproduction of the walking stick/sword used by the deadly blind swordsman
Zatoichi.
Shinwa Damascus Green Nodachi Sword. This excellent Shinwa sword incorporates
the shikomi-zue (sword cane) design that was wielded by Zatoichi, the famous
blind swordsman character of Japanese films and television.
Measuring 40 1/4” in length,
the Damascus steel of this sword’s blade is hand forged and heat tempered to
provide 2000 layers of outstanding cutting power.
The 28 3/8” straight blade
is tightly held by a hardwood handle and slides smoothly into the matching hardwood
sheath.
Both the handle and sheath
are finished in a smooth green lacquer.
This is another fine example
of the reputable craftsmanship that defines all Shinwa swords!
